The National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Penang Branch (NCSM Penang) was established in 1968.
It is financed entirely by voluntary contributions from the public and receives no government funding. NCSM Penang is dedicated to prevent and control cancer, saving lives from cancer, and improving the quality of life of those living with cancer through patient care and education.

We are also involved in Public Cancer Awareness and Education Programmes which include cancer exhibitions, seminars, lectures, and cancer education in schools. Financial assistance to needy cancer-stricken families, support for cancer survivors, and providing subsidized mammograms for the needy are all part of the services offered by NCSM Penang.

Who organised Relay For Life Penang?
The National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Penang Branch (NCSM Penang) was established in 1968. The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) Penang Branch and supported by the Penang Hospice Society (PHS). NCSM Penang Branch was formed in 1968 and is active in the fight against cancer through the dissemination of information and education about cancer.
PHS runs the Hospice at Home Programme and promotes the philosophy of palliative care.
